10" SQL Subwoofer Search

I have recently started building an affordable SQ setup in my 1998 Mercury Sable. I will be using this car as a DD, so nothing fancy, but enjoyable to listen to regularly.

Products I have installed:

JBL GTO8608c (Front stage, tweeters installed in factory sails)

JL 10w3v3-4 (Installed in a Bbox 1.2ft^3, 34Hz)

Autotek AT1500

Products I will be installing soon:

Kenwood KDC-152

Kenwood 300w amp for front stage.

Now, here is where I need help, I love the JL sub. However, it is not loud enough for what I want. Perhaps two would suffice, but I digress. I could use some suggestions for a decent single 10" subwoofer for SQL in a ported box. Space shouldn't be an issue, I could easily fit a 4ft^3 box in my trunk. I have looked at Fi products but am not sure out of those what would be best suited for my application. Then there is the amp issue, that is for another thread, but I have looked into PPI.

Any suggestions or advice is welcomed.

I'll second the idmax. Sounds great and will get pretty loud in the right box and power level.

The IDMAX is a bit over my budget, I also forgot to mention that. I'd like to keep it under $300, preferably $200-$250. I'm trying to keep the sub/amp/box build under $600 including everything. I already have 4ga Rockford wiring ran so that won't need to be factored into the cost.

- I think that Dcon would surprise you... You could always step it up to the Gcon as well...
