10" RD Alpha V3 making noise

Swapped in an RD Alpha V3 in place of my RE SX10 and it sounds great except for the buzzing/rattle when I turn it up. Its def. mechanical, but not sure if its bottoming out, but its hitting something when it's excursion gets up there. Powered by a Crossfire VR1000D, and have had no problems/noises with the SX10 in the same box and same amp. Its supposed to be able to handle more power, being rated at 1500 watts RMS. Any ideas?
