10" or 12"

it doesnt matter that much casue if u get a nice 10 it will sound better than an average 12. and a average 12 will sound better than a better than average 10. do u get hwat i am saying? me personally i have had bad expierance with 10's i would go with the 12's

Its really a space issue

If you listen for SQ purposes and it seems that way a small sealed enclosure will allow either size driver to be used in most circumstances.

but for example if you ahve a 10w3 and a 12 w3 The 12 will obviously move more air but require a bit bigger box. It will also have the ability to dip deeper. The point I want to make though is that is if u used the same driver the 10 will perform best at a slight higher frequence than the 12. And its an easy observation that rock music typically doesnt play in the low 30's

Now say you have a re 10 vs a pyramid 12

the 10 will definatly be getting low

I say go with the tens. In my search for car audio exalance i have noticed that you can spend a nice chunk of change on 2 10's and it will sound great or you can spend the same amount on two 12's that only sound ok

If you generally like to listen to rock then I would go with the 10's because they will hit the tighter and cleaner crisp sound of rock. If you like both rock and rap then definately go with the 12's because they will provide you with a good thump along with tight clean bass if you get the right brand and have them in the right box with the right amp.

Well.. since Linkin Park is a rap/rock mix (which I listen too a lot)... going by what biggen said, you'd want the 12s. Easily put :p
