Alright so I had a pair of MTX 9500's on here for sale recently and they weren't selling so I had them sitting around for awhile. I got ahold of a 10" box (really small pre-fab), and starting messing w/ it and it caused me to develop some questions. The sub barely fit in the box, and it wasn't fully screwed in (had previous screw holes also) so when I turned it up to just get a little feel for it, the cone sounded a little funny. It sounded great on low volumes though. Is this likely due to the box?? It was really only on some low notes n I hadn't really messed with the SSF or anything. Also, I really liked the sound sealed so if any box builder is out there PM me so when can talk about a simple box.
