10" Image Dynamics or Memphis Audio?

Sorry to keep doing this but I'm such a noob I have to keep requesting info as I learn about more products.

Down to purchasing either 1 or 2 - 10" subs. I like SQ with some punch. Memphis power reference series has been recommended as is Image Dynamics. Not sure which ID model however will suit my needs.

Any recommendations? I'm leaning towards 2 of either. Hopefully thats not overkill.

wouldnt the m class Memphis be better for sq instead of the PR, Isnt that what its geared towards/ But still dont know if that will top the ID

Pretty overwhelming on the IDQ's. I gotta check them out.

Do you think 2-10's is overkill? 12's are too sloppy for me. I'm currently running 1-12" Fosgate hx2 and its too sloppy and boomy.
