I have two 10" type R subs "SWR-1042d" They hit hard and clean. great subs if you an SQ guy that like to set off a car alarm every now an then... I know this is my first post and ppl are iffy but Im not looking to ship these f***ers so you can shake my hand when you pick them up lol. Comes with in a big *** center slot ported box... If need be Ill get a vid so you can see them hit

whats the dimensions on the ported box? is it built to specs? quality build?

The box is 16.5 deep, 12 high, 29 long... 2.5 cube. After you subtract the speaker and port displacement that will put everthing right where it needs to be and yes the box was put together tight and strong. It was bought new with the subs so you dont have to worry about and splits or gaps

SWR-1042d Specs.

Sealed box volume: 0.5-0.8

Ported box volume: 0.6-1.25

I've owned several sets of Type R's, they are terrific SQL subs for the budget minded.

Its not custom... It was bought from a retailer here in south jersey. Sh!t sounds good in this box for sure
