10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag

Been racking my brain trying to come up with a decent looking box for the hatch area of a 91 Eclipse. I have 2 12" subs that require roughly 3 cuft of space, and the total cuft of my hatch is 4.7.

Anyone seen or have pics of a nice box design in one of these?

I realize looks are lower on the list then sound quality, but the wife oked total trunk domination, but if it looks like crap I will never hear the end of it. (and she's on to the "ohhh I love this song" volume swell trick lol)

If it's 3 Cubes a sub, those are beastly subs.

But if it's 3 cubes total, I don't see a problem.

Wow... that's pretty intense.

You think that's just a square box with a fitted top on it?

Dimensions are really weird... 30.5 inches across the front, 34 inches across the back, 25 inches front to back and only 11 inches high.

The height is what's throwing me. I was thinking a slant front, forward facing box across the back of the trunk, but with the curves in the trunk it might make it hard to get to look nice.
