10 kicker cvr vs 10 jl w3v2

right now i have the cvr, would it make that much of a difference(get louder/sound better) switching to the w3? with a amp that does 200 @ 4ohms?

Isnt the power handling on the CVR 10 like 300 rms? And what is the power handling of the W3?

Kind of the same.....

I switched from a CVR 12 to a JL12w1v2 sealed.......I was only running 150watts, but I noticed the JL had deeper, boomier low end, while the CVR was punchier.....had more of a kick to it. The JL is smoother sounding to me. While the CVR hit harder, more drive. The CVR has a much stiffer suspension than the JL also.

I did love the CVR though......its a great sub that has a great thump to it.

What Voice Coil configeration is the cvr you have, and is the amp two ohm stable?

my sub is dual 2, and yes the amp is 2ohm stable

Isnt there a way you can wire the sub to where it stays at two ohm? Maybe someone else could answer this question.
