10 inch nightshade questions.

Ok so I bought a 10 inch night shade and I am not sure what to do with it.

I am only going to be using a subwoofer that is about 400-600 rms which really isn't enough to get this moving. I asked my friend and apparently its rated for like 1500wrms.

So the question is should I keep it and just run it off of like 500watts. Or sell it and get something not so beefy. I am not looking for spl here I just want it to sound good.

If I do sell it what are these things worth. I need to figure out a price before I place in classifieds.

i bought it from a friends yard sale thing got a good deal.

If I had to guess, probably 40 bucks to ship and 200 for the sub if its in good shape

i might be able to work a trade out with ya. can build a high excursion tc9 for that power...

The only thing I really wanna trade for is something like a Pioneer avh-p3200dvd.

I have a few other subs laying around and I need a deck before I get more subs.

Sorry for the thread highjack, but what is the mounting depth on these? I cant find the physical specs/mounting info for the Nightshades line anywhere.

probably at least 10 inches or better, depends on what version and size basket

well the box is only 12 inches deep total that its in and 1.5 is wood. so I would guess between 9.5 and 10
