1 sub box cu ft. space

whats the most cu ft space for a box w/ 1 alpine type r 12?

right now i've only got the 1 but will be getting another soon so i'll be building a new box.......but in the meantime i'm using the one and have redesigned my 3 sub box into a single sub encloser which has went to a 4.5-4.7 cu ft box from a 1.6 cu ft. per chamber. i used the seperating boards on the inside of the box to cover the outer sub holes, put a bead of liq. nails around the inner and outer part of the circle, placed anothet piece of mdf over the holes on the outer part of the box and screwed that down, these spots are gonna be where i mount the amp and cap.
