I LOVE BASS!!!
If I wirerd my 2 10"type R's at 1 ohm will it make it louder than it wired up at 2 ohms
How would they know if I run at 1ohmyour amp is 1000 watts @2ohm. it's not stable at 1 ohm according to the specs, so you could try it but your warranty would be void.
that about sums it upthere is no way they can be wired up to a 1 ohm and 2 ohms load
he had 1 of them wired at 1 ohm. when he switched to 2, he had them wired at 2 ohms. moving down to 2 ohms halfs the power. you may have problems with that amp at 1 ohm. may not. you can take the chance if you want. with 2 dual 2ohm subs you would be wiring at 2 ohm and 1000 watts on that amp anyway. plenty of power for those type r's.if you already have the two 10's there is no way they can be wired up to a 1 ohm and 2 ohms load....by using both subs with a mono amp...If they are dual 2's you can wire them 2ohm .5ohm 8ohm if they are dual 4's you can wire them 4ohm 1ohm or 16ohm ......as far as that Kicker amp I beleive it is only 2 ohm stable it may play at 1 ohm but whenever you run an amp lower than the company suggest you are taking a chance on problems.....
