1 ohm?

There are a few amps that i am looking at that are powerful at 1 ohm. Are there many subs out there that can be wired 1 ohm.(1 sub setup)

1 type x?

others in that SQL range?

Yeah, any dual 2 ohm sub can be wired up to a one ohm load look here.

RE XXX, RE SX, Adire Brahma, Alpine Type R D2, SI Magnum D2, Soundplinter Rl-p D2 (not in production any longer), etc etc etc.

if your looking for a single sub setup, you will need to look for either a 2 ohm DVC or a 1 ohm SVC (but I dont see a lot of 1 ohm svc's).

if you want two subs, look for 4 ohm DVC or 2 ohm SVC

It can't, but the dcr of the coil is prolly closer to 1.4(ish) dcr then it is to 2.0ohm.

All of the Type R's are availabe in D2. Type X is D4 only.

Anyone happen to know any model numbers for the 2005 type-r dual 2 ohm? I cant find it anywhere.

i think he meant that 2 subs that each have a single 2 ohm voice coil can be wired for a 1 ohm load.
