1 ohm wiring question

okay so let me see if i understand. if my subs are not connected correspoding on the box i would be only getting a 4 ohm load?

+ + - - positives connected negatives connected same with other woofer then one lead comming off of a positve and a negative on each sub then they each have a terminal in the amp thats not a 1 ohm load then right

yes it is. you are correct. that amp is a mono channel. the speaker terminals are bridged internally. it just makes it easier/cleaner to wire multiple subs.

each of my subs are like on there own cirucit instead of linked to gether anyway if that helps

okay thank you..

as long as both subs are wired the same (each positive together and each negative together, then match the leads to the positive and negative terminals on the amp), then you are all set for a 1ohm load my friend. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
