this is true.... but its also just a "rating". the HDC3 motors are pretty strong motors. hell a stock hdc3 will handle 3k daily in the right box.

Yes but to get it to handle that amp at. .5 which is where it makes its power u will need some pretty stiff suspension which u arent gona like

U been listening.to darren too much lol ...the soft parts of a hdc3 arent all rhat stiff is what im trying.to say ..and if u beef one up so much to handle that power its not gona be very musical which i know u compete on music

Honestly with AudioQue's already overly stiff suspension making one that can handle 3k+ daily is going to be an issue on music. Most people who runs Audioques daily have higher tuned boxes and compete. Also people claiming they handle over 3k daily are mistaken I have yet to see this. Anyone can hook a woofer up play it 5 minutes and have it handle some power but I think people missunderstand the term "daily." talking 5 hours + play time without any heatup or smell.

How is making it stiffer going to increase power handling? Thermally a 3" VC can only take so much power/heat for so long.

True which is why i question whys hes wanting to start with the hdc3 motor when he already had a 18 and couldbt yield the results he wanted

Amd the pair of hdc3 15 s on that amp didnt work either ...his.best option is to get a beefy *** 18 and run that amp. at .5 and play with some boxes ...he wants to crack 150 on music ..and he also does 45sec avg. ..but he likes to tune pretty high .....but hes stubborn and refuses to have someone to design him a badazz box.or 2.lol

Pretty sure my single HDC4 18 in the trunk would do a 30sec avg on music of 150+. Assuming dash/door open. Would do it streetbeat for sure. Who does 45sec avg?

I would be doing 2 subs, need motor strength/cone area when doing avg on music. Better then killing a single sub set up...

Thats exactly why he went from a single hdc3 18 to 2 hdc3 15 s..but im pretty sure he will admit his box was a mess

2 15's on the right power and box should easily do that.

I did a box for a team mate with 2 lvl5's and an NS1 and he burps 53+ sealed and streetbeats a 54+....

who said i wasnt happy with the single 18 and its output results? hell i only had like 800 rms on it with all stock electrical and what not.... i was def happy with it
