Hey, just wanted some advice on some speakers I purchased.
As per a previous post on here, it was recommended that I get components vs 2ways for my doors, which I ended up doing.
I have a pair of Sony 6x9 XS-GT6937A 3-ways in the rear, and bought the Sony 6.5" XS-GTX1622S Components for the front.
Installing into a 2003 Impala, mounting the tweets in the doors here (red circle). Before I do, I wanted to get some feedback on this -3db option in the crossovers.
Anyone have any experience with these Sony's? Does the -3db reduce the volume of the tweets? or is it more how much of the highs we hear?
Basically... I don't want to have to rip the panels off again to enable/disable it if I can avoid it. Given the location of where the tweets are, would you do the -3db or not?
