1 amp per sub set up???

I havent played with both but ive heard from other people that supposidly have that the new IDv.3 is a better sub with more output than the the idqv.2, just requires slightly larger encloser. Ive also heard theres a IDQ v.3 on the way but have now info on release or t/s peramiters or anything.

Okay..one of the Knuckleheads on here will blast me for this newbie question but here goes..

ARC say I must run a 4 ohm sub because these amps are 250X1 at 4ohms....

Does this mean I cannot run a DVC 2ohm sub at all???Or just that I cannot run anything above a 4ohm

I can get some IDQ DVC 2 ohms at a great price???But will this work?

You can run 1 2ohm DVC sub in series for a 4ohm load...

So If I am running a 4ohm load from 1 amp into a 1 sub..that sub MUST be 4 ohms not 2ohms..Does it matter if they are DVC subs or no?

Basically to run 1 amp per sub at 250X1 @ 4ohms per amp..I must use a 4ohm sub

Sorry..for some reason the Image Dynamics Sub options for DVC and Ohms confuse the hell outta me!

no it does not matter if u use a DVC sub, as long as the sub can be wired into a 4 ohm load.

If the sub is a DVC with 2 ohm coils, it can be wired to be a 4 ohm load.
