it should have been stated that copper is copper, i have seen pretty lousy wire before, or 4 guage wire with the same diameter of insulation as copper and barely ended up equivelent to a true 8awg wire, plus many others

but overall, welding wire works great and for the price as long as you dont care about bright blue and red its awsome stuff to get

well this pyle 4 guage seems to be of very high quality.. it is definitely copper and is as large of diameter as PG i used to run.. but i guess there is probably someone out there selling real crap.. but this pyle amp kit PLAM20 is great..
