1.8@30Hz - Check Calculations Plz

Hey guys, looking to try out a new box for my 12" RL-p. Right now I have it in a 2@35Hz box. How do these calculations look, is it correct?

14"H x 29"W x 13" D

Three 3" Diameter ports, 31.736 inches long

should equal 2.25 cubes gross, 1.869 cu. ft. net with 21 sq. inches port area.

PS Anyone know an online calculator for slot-port boxes? Or the formulas required to calculate everything?

thats what im using to make my box hehe. im making it tommorrow, i will let u know how it turns out. mine will be 3.5 @ 30hz, rl-p 15

Yea man let me know how that goes. I've been running this box for a long time now, the lows are there but I've always been wondering how much better it'd be tuned down around 30Hz so I'm gonna get it done now while I'm on break.

Using that link (and I also found a calc. on the RE site) I come up with these dimensions:

Net Volume: 1.8 cubic feetTuning Frequency: 30 Hz

Port Width: 1.75 inches

Port Area: 22.75 Square Inches

Port Length: 34 inches

External Dimensions: 29 wide x 14.5 tall x 13.5 deep

I'm a bit worried about the port width, anyone think I'll get port noise running that narrow?

just up the port to 2"

i finished my box, it sounds awesome. just all around better. punchier, deeper, hits the uppers better too, and is louder.
