I bought this brutus thinking that the power wires were 0 guage. I bought some of knu's kolossus 1/0 cable and i dont really feel like ordering 4gauge. Do you think it would be ok to trim the tip of the copper so that it is the right size to fit the 4 guage, or should i juss use this 1/0 cable to upgrade my big 3? Also i was wondering if i did trim the wire to fit the hole, would it be like running 4 gauge or would it be like running the 1/0 cable?

Buttt, like smd said, would their be that big of a difference? Becuase i want to do the big 3 and this cable is probably one of the best to do it with. Should i just but some 4g from knu or would the 1/0 make it hit harder?

get a 1/0 to 4 guage reducer? they are like 8 bucks
Go to sounddomain.com and then go into the accessories. Lightning audio has some 4 gauge - 1/0 gauge adapters for amps. Pick up 2 of them, one for the power wire and one for your ground ;-)
Get a distrobution block and do it right. If you ever go bigger with the amplifier later, you'll wish you had one, and end up ordering it anyway.
pay attention to these 4 replies, and do either of the above listed options //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . trimming the wire will work fine, but why not go ahead and do it the right way.

and not to sound like a smart *** or anything, but its usually worth it to double check your specs and everything before ordering stuff.

Ok, ill just go ahead and trim down the wires to fit the 4gauge. Would the 1/0 make the system hit harder rather than the 4gauge, or would their be a difference? If not i will probably order a 4 kit and use the 1/0 for big3

Jared you ****ing scammer how about you give me my **** items. I can not believe the you think you can scam me and think I'm just going to go away.

the maxsonics website claimed the bxi1606d uses 2ga oversized terminals for their power/ground. i bought 22' of streetwires 2ga power wire and they didnt fit in the slot. it was truly meant for 4ga. i ended up using a distro block
