1/0 the same as 0 guage?

I just got done doing some wire research at http://www.bace1.com and it seems that I will have better output and less voltage drop at higher volumes with 0 guage rather then 2 guage.

The power/voltage loss demo calculator they have in the wire section said that with 19' of 0 guage power wire 1' of 0 guage battery neg to chassis wire and 3' of 0 guage amp ground to chassis wire that I would have about 1000w RMS after voltage/power loss at half volume with 0.282 voltage loss.......seems good to me.

Isn't 1/0 the same as 0 guage?

depends on which fuses you want to replace when they blow, if you would rather replace the ones in the amp then make the one on the wire larger (200), if you would rather repace the one on the wire get the 150
