no, i didnt use either of the pictured. i got a bag of 0 gauge raptor terminals, the crimp style, for 5 dollars, and there was 20 terminals inthe bag, so i just used a 3/8" bit and enlarged the hole.

Funny, I search ebay nonstop trying to find more ring terminals 3/8 holes yet couldnt find anything.

Yet now i enter 0 gauge raptor terminals into ebay and get bags full of crimp ones.

You can also just buy the correct size crimp rings from this place, look below.

Waytek Wire

They sell crimp rings w/ 1/4in, 5/16in, 3/8in and 1/2in holes in copper or tinned copper. You can get the tinned copper rings for around $00.65 each. The only problem is that they have a $5 minimum charge. That is still not a bad deal because you could get around (7) crimp rings for $5 plus shipping. That is still much cheaper than getting them locally or from one of the online audio retailors.

i just use a vise and a uni-bit to make the hole bigger....

my stepped unibets are in storage along with the drill press :p

dont have access to all my tools right now. And I dont feel like paying 10-30 dollars for another stepped bit.

Yes, it is a very good site. I buy quite a bit of electrical stuff from them. Everything they sell is top quality and very reasonably priced.

*X's~2*!!!.My preference is the "Tinned Lugs"/;) .As QtrHorse said it cheaper & better to buy several to have on hand. All the Best.

well i ended up drilling out the connector that came on my kicker wiring kit. Added a terminal adapter and all is well.

Course now I still need a way of running 3 1/0ga out from my negative post. Cant get to the side post. Battery terminal i bought says it accepts 1, 1/0 but it doesnt.

Hi Ruffy,

I'm thinking I would do(If it was mine),is try to attach 1-1/0 to the Negative Post, route it back to a Distro Block and run the other 2 1/0 cables from the Block out.I don't know if there are blocks that have 1/0 In and Out......Wait,my bad.

I think I have an older Stinger "T" block that is a 3-1/0 ."I" wouldn't connect 3-1/0 cables to the Battery myself. But that's just me/:) .All the Best w/your System.

*Kind Regards*
