note: Trunk Setup

Either (1) 12" or (1) 15" depending on available space

BTL....that XXX will not like 3k daily..

I tried my 07' XXX 12" on my Sundown 3000D @ 1 ohm...Heh...bad idea..

Thermal power handling on them is 2,000....I've seen people do Kicker ZX 2500.1's to them but they have to keep gains way down.

If I'd left my Sundown 3K on it for a few days...I'd be asking you to break out the BBQ sauce....

It got stinky FAST...even at 0 gain.....I do not reccomend it.

If your running that kinda power...the BTL will take it all day long...

I know my MT took a measured 4kw all day every day w/out an issue. I think the BTL is close to the same but with better cooling, no?

I guess its all install dependant, but with my BTL, FULL option it got smelly with 2500 and burnt up at 3k. My MT held the power better.

i forgot about the DD 95 series woofers.. whats the recommended power handling on say a 9515; would it be comparable to a BTL

No, I believe you're right I've also heard this about the two that's why I'm asking which would u choose beteeen the two for my situation.
