'06 Mustang GT whith Shaker 500. Need answers.

Soi just bought a mustang gt with the shaker 500. Well it sounds OK not the best in the world but certainly not the worst stock system i have ever heard. Anyway I'm all about a good stealthy system and was wondering if anyone has had any luck replaceing the facotry 8"s in the doors with something better. Also in my F150 it had 6x8s in the front and i replaced it with some ID 6.5s. Will these fit in the factor 6x8 opening? If the 8"s can be replaced whats a good speaker to look for? I listen to almost any music but am an SQ guy who likes a lil extra punch. Thoughts?

What? You replaced the 6.5's it but you're asking if the 6.5's will fit?

6.5s will fit in the 6x8 holes fine bro. take the door off and see what fits yourself. Im sure if it has 8s you can replace the 8s with a little rigging.
