Since i never did post this install on here... i guess i will now..since i'm back on the forums..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

clean and simple is the name of the game here

the gear:

3 Kicker L7 12's, zx1500.1,150.2, Mobile Spec cap

the box for the subs(stupid simple)... wanted to do fiberglass but time limit doesn't allow...sorry for no box build pics...did have my camera until after i built it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

a nice test fit..and they fit PERFECT!

pict3577iv7.jpg

starting the amp build up.. the amps will appear to be flush into the floor... just basically raise the floor up around them 2 inches..and it will be flush with the bottom of the subs.. again simple and clean

great work, everything looks great. I think it would look little better if there was 1-2 inches of space between each sub, but thats just me.
yeah i would have liked to space them out more... but the box there was as big as possible...although i still think it turned out nice for what it is..

Only issue I would worry about is the baffle (3 subs) with no bracing! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
But looks great. How does it sound?
yeah, i think that baffle would flex a lot.

but the work looks excellent!

how much did you charge for that work?

yeah .....bracing..who needs that:laugh: but it really wasn't bad once the trim panel goes in front of it..and the subs screw into it... it sounds pretty **** nice.. gets nice and loud.. but yet still very musical.. none of the pics really show it...but i left a gap between the trim panel and rear deck so it wasn't sealed off from the car.... the customer is very happy with it... so thats what really counts right?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

i did this install at work.. (Installtions Unlimited in Syracuse, NY)....as far as how much they charged for the labor i did... who knows... 1.5 days of work:uhoh:

I bet the customer liked it, but I wouldn't. It doesn't seem like you can easily adjust anything with those flush mounted amps. But I suppose if the customer was interested in adjusting and such, he probably would have done it himself/

all gain/bassboost/xover controls on kicker zx amps are on the top.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
