04 Grand Prix Setup

Ok, so I have never installed subs or a new deck but I am looking into it. I have done some research and come up with the following setup:

Kenwood DNX5140 Navigation Head Unit Link

GMOS-01 (to retain door chime) Link

Kenwood KAC-7204 2-channel 1000W amp (500W rms Bridged) Link

Kenwood KFC-W3012 12" sub (400W rms) Link

1.158 cubic ft. sealed sub enclosure Link

Grand total for this setup is a hair over $1,000.

I'm pretty set on the head unit, but the sub/amp combo is more where I am less certain. So if those of you with lots more experience with this stuff than me would care to comment/suggest, I would greatly appreciate it.

looks good. but if you search the for sale section you might beable to find something better.... here or on ebay.. not sure if you want warrentys.

Nahh forget the cheap shit off ebay, go with crutchfield. I've bought my whole car audio system from them, and having thte warranty is better than not having one. Nice setup, looks like you'll be fine. Have you included the 4 gauge wiring kit too?
