Well, I have a '03 Navigator and I noticed now that the airbags aren't working. I am not sure why. First off, several months ago I took it to Lincoln and had them look at it when they fixed an oil leak. They told me the loud audible noise from the compressor was normal. Now, my compressor doesn't turn on.
This all started 2 days ago when I installed my Clarion MAX675VD. I used a wiring harness at Walmart that doesn't use all three plugs that the factory radio did.
I noticed now that for some reason when my lights are set to Automatic (they never came on until the sensor didn't sense so much light) the fogs stay on. Not sure why that's happened??? That's fine though. However, I am just wondering if it's because all the plugs in the harness for the radio aren't used?
As far as the Air Ride, I checked the fuses, the switch in the back to see if it was off (I turned it off and then back on again; it never was off), and I even cleaned the connections for the relay (I searched the forums and noticed that caused the same problems).
Does anyone think that factory harness for the radio caused this problem?
