You can use what you have available, and use 4 awg ground from each amplifier, BUT, ground all your amplifiers to the same point. But you should use the same size wire gauge for power (coming from the battery to distro block) and ground (coming from amps or distro block). If you are planning on using multiple amplifiers then use 1/0 awg wiring, and get a distro block which allows you to have 1 1/0awg input (from your batt) and 4 awg outputs for the power terminals. Use another distro block, with a few 4 awg inpust with a single 1/0 awg ouput for the ground wires coming from the amplifiers, and wire that distro blocks output to ground (a single 1/0 gauge). Performing these steps simplifies your installation, allows you for more flexibility when upgrading, looks better, and is most effiecient.
P.S. A little tip, Keep your 4 awg wire runs as short as you can so that you dont experience current loss.
