**** 0 Guage Wire Wont Fit. I Need Help!

Should i just get a T 0>4 guage distro block and run 4 guage wire for my ground?Maybe run 2x4guage wire as my ground and try to fit them in my amp. Should be easier than trying to do 1 0guage? Please give me input soon I want to orer tonight?

i was just gonna suggest that

http://www.cardomain.com/item/STIS04ADAPT

for the ground? well. how many watts is your amp, if its likeunder 1000, i wouldnt really worry about 0 guage.. you can if you want, or if you have any left over posative 0 guage, even though its the same color, just use that. wire is wire. a plastic sleeving isnt gonna change that, JUST MAKE SURE YOU LABEL WHAT IS GROUND AND WHAT IS POSATIVE IF YOU USE THE SAME COLOR! dont want you blowing your amp =P

just use what you have. simple as that.

get those 2 0->4 guage stinger terminals, they should be perfect for what you need, unless you have the weird terminals with the plate instead of the hex screw (rockford fosgate and knukonceptz have the terminals that you can use with the stinger wire adapters) the ones that have the flat square washer and the screw that holds it down (where you have to split the wire in a Y or use a Y terminal) you should get one of these

http://www.cardomain.com/item/LITBSRT10 and take the flat washer out, and screw the screw thru that hole.

thats all depending on what kind of amp terminals are on there. have any pics?

if you end up buying anything from knukonceptz, just buy 5 or so feet of 1\0 for $10 you cant go wrong with that price. that way you can just have all 1\0 guage, and not have to worry about anything stupid like 2 4guage wires

I have a Avionixx 1200.2. Its the round terminals where you poke the wire in. I am just gonna get 2 of them 0>4 guage converters and be happy. They should work just fine.You think that the amp screw will hold the adaptor down. I mean its square and there is no hole for the screw? Also would I need to have 0 guage ground too? Or could I just go with 4 guage ground if I am going 1200 watts to a Brahma?Or would i need 2 converters and keep them both 0 guage?

wire=wire;)
It's still wire:D

There is no high quality wire. Aluminum woulden't even be a good choice for wire b/c of it's high resistance. Copper is great. Silver would be best, but it's to ex$pen$ive.
i never said there was such thing as high quality wire. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tomatoface.gif.6507032fedd1868ec0a6a447bb29a18a.gifi put aluminum wire because it is not as good as copper. As in dont buy it

If you plan on adding more amps, I think it would make sense to run 0ga power and ground, then put in a dist-block for each. Fused for power, solid for ground. I think that gives you the most flexibility.

i dunno if i read this wrong, but if hes running 0awg power and 4awg ground, isn't that a no no? your ground should be the same gauge as your power wire or larger i thought.
