Coaxial cable strippers, the kind satellite TV installers and cable TV guys use. Back out the blade as far as it'll go, and it'll work on larger gauges.

I use to have one of those when I worked for time warner never thought of using that. I just use a razor it works.. lol

I use a razor as well, and for cutting i use a razor and tap it threw the wire with a hammer.
