0/1 Couplers

if you go to the electrical section at your local lowes,home depot,menards, etc they have couplers there. they aren't as sexy but I'm willing to bet they are way cheaper. i bought a couple 2 gauge versions several years ago.

 
You could use two ring terminals and bolt those together //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif just make sure you put enough insulation over the terminals. Its kind of ghetto but works well and is a lot cheaper.
