LOLZ at this whole thread

ya we all know he posts some zeke'd out build threads, and posts alot about his future "dreams" that never seem to happen.

get over it already

Hateraid is correct. Flat from 20 to 20k is the goal of any 2 channel speaker system. To get that level of SQ would cost far more than a Porsche and some components and subs. People spend 100,000.00 plus to achieve that goal. IMO if you want a system to sound the way YOU want it to sound, which in my case would be the "west coast" sound, that is one thing. A flat response with a width and depth of soundstage is another. It all comes down to what YOU want to hear. Give me some up front mids and some God **** overwhelming bass when I want it any day. That is my preference. Yours may be different.
See in theory, flat response from 20-20k would be ideal. I'm telling you in practice in an automobile, it sounds dull and lifeless. Like I said , anyone is more than welcome to come and have a demo. I will pull the rta and pink noise out to verify that the tune is indeed flat on the rta. Then they can have a listen and judge for themselves. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I prefer a little more midbass:
RTA4-10-09-1.jpg
My normal "tune" has slightly more midbass and the vocal range is cut slightly so people aren't screaming at you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I liked the old power plates. Had a few myself. Clean sound, but just like most amps of the era those ******* get warm lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I don't plan on running below 4 ohm...rear fill will be 8ohm for sure...4chs active on the front stage....one ch. for rear remaining ch for center....so I'm hoping it won't be too bad in the spare tire area...I'm really undecided on the sub amp at the moment...though...I'd really like to run my DD SS1 ...but the crossover is undefeatable...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif And I'm wanting to use my old school Hifonics Callisto crossover...I really like the sub features..but I don't like combining slopes....Amp and crossover....so I'm still thinking that one out right now
