So tell me what SQ is based on and how it is judged. I'm a musician, and I know that a "smiley face" curve sounds better to most people. Leo Fender knew that when he designed the "Nocaster" and Percision bass. What are you basing SQ on? And what is your premise that DD subwoofers can't function in an SQ environent? I have pretty extensive 2 channel knowledge... and the "goal" is to reproduce the original recording.... which would be a flat response from 20 to 20khz. I will admit I have a preference for the "California" sound which is found in JBL and Pioneer 2 channel equipment in the HPM line... which is a prominenet midrange responce. But what, if anything, are you looking for other than an accurate reproduction of the source material? IMHO, that would be an SQ setup.

First go back and show me where I said ANY sub was not an SQ sub. I'll wait a few minutes while you search the entire forum...........................................................................Now that your back because your search returned no results. To me there is no such thing. IF the sub(s) works in the application, it goes in. period.

Sound quality is about accurately reproducing the music as closely as you can to the original.

You have to remember though, an automobile is far from the ideal listening enviroment. Flat on an rta sound flat in an automobile. as in dull and lifeless. I still have an rta preset. Hateraid is correct. Flat from 20 to 20k is the goal of any 2 channel speaker system. To get that level of SQ would cost far more than a Porsche and some components and subs. People spend 100,000.00 plus to achieve that goal. IMO if you want a system to sound the way YOU want it to sound, which in my case would be the "west coast" sound, that is one thing. A flat response with a width and depth of soundstage is another. It all comes down to what YOU want to hear. Give me some up front mids and some God **** overwhelming bass when I want it any day. That is my preference. Yours may be different.

I'm not full of **** at all! What ya got to trade with me for a week or two? I'm just getting the system together in my Challenger but I will detail it before you pick it up, provided what you trade is a fun enough ride for me.
Hit me up here or via PM and I'll be glad to trade vehicles for a week or two if you are close enough to do so. I was planning on starting some work on the Challenger next week with Dave but if you got something cool you wanna swap out for a bit I'm bout it bout it.

I'd take a pic, but believe it or not I don't have a camera. Ex-wife took the digital and took me off the phone plan... I bought the cheapest StraightTalk phone and it has no camera. If you HAVE to have a pic I'll get my girlfriend to take one when she gets over here tonite.

Sorry, i had to work for a little bit. Unlike some, i am at my JOB. Week or two? You said TRADE, i will be glad to go spend less than 10k on a 928 and TRADE for a 2010 Challenger any day. So to answer your question, i can be there to pick it up and leave with it PERMANENTLY(remember you said trade in your post) as soon as you show proof of a clear title. Assuming you can get off Dave's nuts long enough to post the VIN to run for a lien check. If you don't have a clear title, you don't own the car to trade in the first place and are talking out your AZZ.

Any way, going back to work for a bit. But as you said "i'll be waiting" for a slip proving you even own the car before i wasted my time picking up a used 928 to trade with you.
