Sony rsx gs9... just an opinion on latest in hi res audio

I went up against a guy a few months ago that had at least 5 grand in linier power amps. He was talking a lot of crap at first. I got a demo and there was no stereo seperation, everything was pined on the pillar, no stage, imaging like a set of cheap headphones.

When he demoed mine he decided not to compete. Last I heard from him he torn the whole car down. All I did was play "Thriller". He was asking how the hell it did that when the guy walked across the dash eye level

His opinion of what matters was forever changed that day

I don't know why people think equipment is the end all be all to great sound. It's depressing how much money is likely wasted when better results could have been had with less expensive equipment with a better install/tune.

That's what they are told and they believe the salesman. In this case it was Ray talking like his amps where somehow defying the laws of physics.

Guy said his damping factor made them so gooooddd. Yeah about that

Just a FYI.....it has both.
This doesn't matter if the signal is 100% pure undistorted digital gold sent thru fiber optics. The signal is no better than the dsp used to convert it to ANALOG signal for the amp to reproduce. The only thing this guy could attempt to say is the dsp in the Rockford 360.3 is better than your hu dsp. There is also a reason hd tv's and other units use HDMI cables (analog) over the older toshi cables. There is also nothing wrong with using rcas especially if you are using balanced rcas.

I simply answered a question that was asked but not answered entirely, I have no intention to get into this stupid pissing match.....

Sorry if it seemed like I was coming after you. Was not my intention just kind of went on a rant about the other bull that was said.

Jaja.
