You don't think the Optima Yellow top is sufficient? Due to the intake design I can't run a battery up front, and I don't want two batteries in the trunk. Wouldn't a good cap help me stay above the battery voltage (~12.2ish) and / or smooth the fluxuations?

Thats a great price! The reason for not doing sub up is that there is not enough space on the top plane for an 18" sub. I am into diving and other crap so I need as much space in the trunk (behind the box) as possible. Not having the sub up will allow me to stack stuff on top if I go camping...

Okay I know it isn't a real 4hp motor but supposedly the dimensions are pretty close. Can anyone tell me the weight of the 4hp motor or the XXX motor? I need one to fit in a USPS flat rate box with a 70lb limit.

Please excuse my ignortardence......but how do these stack up against the big car audio motors like 4hp, level5, etc? And are they suited well for car audio use?
