My deck has HPF option in the menu. Do i turn it up or down? It has hz settings also, not 1-8 like im used to

I just put a new Sony deck, 4 channel amp (hooked to factory speakers), sub amp and 12" sub in my car. The last aftermarket deck i had had bass/treble/mid straightforward adjustment. This deck has EQ10 adjustment and each setting has this jibberish Band 1-32Hz Band 2-63Hz Band 3-125Hz Band...

So i plug the head unit side of my speaker rca's into the splitter and plug one into each output for the "FRONT" outputs? Then my sub rca into "REAR/SUB" Am i understanding u correctly?
