There should be ok to do? Won't hurt the speakers or the stereo? I want to test the speakers out as they won't fit in my car yet, until I get some brackets so I thought i'd hook em up to my stereo in my room.

I am kind of suspicious, the infinity 6010cs at my local shop cost 250 yet online they cost slightly over 100. Are these fake or used or what? But 150 in savings is still a lot so I am still leaning towards buying them of onlinecarstereo.com (one of the few that ship to canada) or maybe ebay...

It does not come with tweeters, but there are tweeter grills and there is another cable with a tiny plug taped to the door right behind the grill is so I guess it is for the tweeter.

I'm not sure what you guys mean still as if I cut off the plug, 4 wires would be sticking out. There is only only 1 spade lug connection in the speaker . SO how do I make the connection? WHich wires go where?

I tried to play a cd in my head unit and it skips quite a few times but it plays flawlessly in my cd-rom drive. Is it just my head unit or is it head units in general? It is a kenwood kdc-mp202
