i want to hook a second amp to my system. i already have a distro block with one pwr to the amp and one to a cap. i want to keep the cap and add the other amp. should i just take a wire from one amp's power to the next and share the ground but with separate wires........(i dont know the name...

you are looking at my current systems.......i dont have that amp anymore. i have two other amps and i want to hook one amp to each speaker and also have the cap ........or no cap ......

i do if the cap isn't on there. How do i wire it with the cap and how could i test the subs to see if they are equally powered?

whats the proper wiring for this set up. right now i have one amp and a cap cause my car is old. the power is split, one for each and they share the same ground. how would i add another amp?

I have a 91' rodeo(suv). I have two kicker compvr 12's. I dont know wich box is better. I started off with the sealed box, then i switched to the ported. I faced the speakers back both times. The sealed box is not separated but its bigger than the ported. Also, i might be getting 2 more...

I have a prestige 1000 watt monoblock 2 ohm stable amp. Could it push 4 kicker cvr 12"s? If so, would it wire to 2 ohms if i wire them all in a series? My friend says he had 4 dvc 4 ohm woofers and they wired to 8 ohms. The 15"s are the same speaker, Kicker cvr 15''s.

yeah the h/u didn't have a good ground. I changed it to a bolt around the pedal and it works. the speakers are wired in a series to the mono amp. they are dvc 4 ohm woofers. I just got a banpass box, i had a sealed box but it wasn't separated.

Thanks....i'll see about it today, but what about the speakers. All i know is that i can wire them to a lower ohm and they willhit harder or take more watts or something of that nature.

My head unit is weird. I dont know much about hooking them up. When i have my amp and sub wired(sub woofer rca), i have a little ground noise. I'm cool with that, but when i hook my other amp for the mids and highs to the rca's(front and rear) from the head unit, i get a lot of noise. I cant...
