Well, first I think the 800w rating on that amp is peak and not continious power. To find the RMS or continious power rating check the amp manual. If you don't have it get in touch with the amp manufacturer via the net. My best guess however is probably 150-200w rms if that. Hope that helps.

I think your best bet would be to either contact the dealer or a compitent car audio shop and ask them the best way to access the head unit. I have never done an install on your make and model of car so I'm really not sure. It could be snaps or a combination of snaps and hidden screws.
