The crossovers have a switch for the tweets that say flat or -3db. They are currently set at -3bd. What's the differance of these settings and could this be causing my problem?

I have four 12" subs and was wondering if I could put two of them in 2 cubic ft and the other pair in 3 cubes? Would it give me a wider range of frequencies? Woofers are rockford p3s with a recommended enclosure of 1 cube

Yes I'm building a center console for 2 subs with recomended air space(1.0) I'm wondering if I can use my current enclosure under the seat that has 1.5 per sub for the other 2? Do they all have to be the same air space or no?
