I just bought a power acoustik cpaa-70d double din and I have a 09 pontiac g6 that has steering wheel controls. The radio has built in steering wheel control wires. There's a green one and Grey one but I have no idea where to connect them to.

I got this radio and i want to play Videos from a usb thumb drive. I've tried converting it several different ways and every time it says "unsupported file"..Any help on doing this? Is there a specific setting the videos have to have in order to play? I've tried mpeg1 and 2 at 640x480 and...

Ok i tested it with a different amp and it still did it..Not as bad though but i think because it was only like a 200watt amp so it was less noticeable but it was still there. I dont know what to do. i have tried pretty much everything. What would running the constant power wire from the HU...

So installed a new head unit, grounded it directly to the chassis instead of connecting it to the cars harness and still no change. Im just trying to get a hold of another amp so i can test it, im pretty sure it is the amp though..

Yes of course. it didn't work. I also tried 2 different HU's and it did it on both. I ordered a new HU and a new set of RCA cables plus ima try ground the HU to its own grounding point. Hopefully one of those fixxes the problem.

Yes just one amp. Highs are just connected straight to the head unit. The HU ground was something i was thinking about doing as well. Currently i just connect the black ground wire to the black wire on my cars wire harness. i don't know exactly where it goes to but yeah i was thinking about...

afaik i have never plugged or unplugged the rcas with the head unit on. I have unplugged and/or plugged them back in from the amp end if tahts the same thing..?

Yeah ive read how to do that. Ill probably just order a new head unit. I have the deh-p7700mp. I wonder if the 7800 would have that problem since the rcas are different on it, They are actually wires instead of being on the headunit itself?

I run my rcas and remote wire on the passenger side and the power wire on the drivers side.

Ok so i been encountering this problem. I been noticing that my highs are really distorted on certain frequencies even at lower volumes. I have my hpf all the way up on my head unit so no lows are going to my speakers. So the weird part is if i turn off my subwoofers my highs sound perfectly...

That did not seem to work..Also i don't think its alt whine since from what i read alt whine gets louder as you rev the engine and mine dont do that..
