    2014 Hyundai Elantra amplifier install

I have the exact same car as you. There are some rubber plugs, but you can also just drill your own hole and then seal it up with some hot glue. Make sure the hole is almost the exact size as your wire.

    loc problems

That's because the sound going into the factory amplifier does not correspond with the controls on the stereo, but the sound going out of the factory amplifier does. This is why peole should invest in a good LOC like the AudioControl LOC's, they each take up to 400 wats each channel of input...

    Speaker wiring question

I read somewhere recently that as long as your running a hundred watts or less through the factory wiring, it won't need to be upgraded. If you are running over a hundred watts RMS, then you'll want to run new wiring to the speakers.

line out converter or aftermarket deck?

An LOC is still a great choice as a long term option, because most factory decks these days are just as good or better than some aftermarket decks. I like the LOC's because they get rid of the base fade, filters and boosts the signal to the amplifiers. LOC's are excellent long term options, I...

line out converter or aftermarket deck?

The LC7i is for 6 channels (4 channel stereo amplifier and a 2 channel sub amplifier). This would be used for a complete factory stereo system upgrade by installing new door speakers and subs. There are the other ones such as LC6i (4 channel) and the LC2i (two channel, subs only). Pick the one...

Go to Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, Pro Audio, 4k TV and contact them for help, they have a live person who you can explain your question to and they will let you know which would be the correct part for you to use. They have helped me with my install too.

line out converter or aftermarket deck?

The LC2i can handle up to 400 watts going into the LOC is what it's saying. If you have an amplifier already installed, make sure the line going into the LC2i is from the back of the stereo instead of from the amplifier as that will be too much wattage for the LOC to handle.

line out converter or aftermarket deck?

Switching to an Aftermarket head unit would depend on if your factory stereo has Bluetooth or not or if you have a factory amplifier. I have the AudiControl LC7i hooked up to my factory head unit which has Bluetooth and Navigation, so I wouldn't benefit from upgrading my factory head unit. Also...

    Upcoming Install Help Needed...

The amplifier was 200 bucks on Amazon brand new. Should I run the 4 channel straight to the main battery as it's not very high wattage and then run the mono amplifier through the Shuriken Battery or should I run both to the Shuriken? What kind should I get if I run both amps through the Shuriken...

    Upcoming Install Help Needed...

I have everything except for the Shuriken battery as I don't know which kind I should get yet. I'm in the S.E. Phoenix area about 3 hours from Prescott. Here's a link to the Monoblock amp I have, it shares some really good info on the amplifier.
