maybe im wrong but JL audio makes good 6 1/2s i would say start with TRs but the VRs sound much better especially when amplified.

could go with the 1600 also for much less than what you were gonna pay for the 1200 I say buy it thats really cheap for the specs and you could upgrade your subs without a problem.
