bust out a multimeter and test the impedance yourself, also like said above check your gains and freq tuning... about your setup, if these are the same jl amps im thinking about, they put out the same power (500w*1)@1.5-4ohms so at 1 ohm it would be bad but a 4ohms it still wont change output...

just like in another fs thread i posted in, i will come pick up the eq for $20 if you have it around new years when i get paid, im obligated to be broke before/during xmas.... i live next to knotts....

i WILL take them if you have them around new years (payday) .....

so how long until that cord melts? any takers? are you using hi-level inputs on the amp or rca's?

it softens the blow of sudden, high-current draws from your car's electrical system, its like a buffer for your alternator.....but its a band-aid add-on and is no replacement for an upgraded electrical system(hi output alternator), but a cap and a hi-amp alternator is a very good thing....
