thx for the explanation! yes actually i was tired when i did the swap and its very possible that had rcas plugged in before i plug in the power and ground, or even some strands were loose and made contact to the amp's chassis... never working on these things when im tired again thats for sure...

Everything was working great until i switched my 4ch amplifier and completly forgot to disconnect the power line from the battery and i think i messed up something...not sure the cause though... now both my 4ch amplifiers make really weird noise and the really weird part is that my sub mute...

So I did the big 3 , at first i only did batt to ground and ground to engine block and tried this for a week and it was running good. Then i went ahead and added 0 gauge from alt to batt and the car wouldnt start without revving it while starting... and at idles the rpm goes unconfortably low...

you have a point... but i doubt the "bottleneck" from fuse would be noticeable especially for daily drivers running anywhere from 1krms to 3krms... Also, better be safe than sorry man, not worth the damage if something happens... you never know...
