Hello everybody! I haven't posted in a while but I'm about to start a new build and need some ideas for my 2000 Neon. I have the space avaliable in the backseat and trunk for a box but don't want a wall. I would like it below the window line in the backseat. Equipment is undecided but I want it...
great story. however... "salad tossing" is oral-anal contact, not butt piracy. unless there was some tongue gigantititus issue, it shouldn't have hurt, and doesn't really make sense. get your sh1t straight son.
just for future reference..ask if the have any shelving board in 3/4" sizes. it may only be 12-16" wide, but will do the trick for a small enclosure. oh..and its almost always MDF.
im actually willing to bet they had either MDF or HDF at that store in some form. sh1ts almost hard to avoid these...
i installed my panels to the box and braced each joint w/ 1"x1" stock (to connect the seams). then i used the same stock to make diagonal braces between the box and the outer edge of the panel. the bracing was easy, its getting the curves right thats a bit hard. my build log will be up soon, but...

isn't this your second post about this?
anyway..they all say the same darn thing. look at the scale in dB on the left side. the "regular" winisd just compresses it to give a more reasonable view (notice that there is no numbering). winisdPRO and bassbox give you a more detailed but wider range...
im slightly confused on how you got the ft^3 number. is that a 4" top and 7" bottom depth? here are my numbers based on 0.75 enclosure thickness:
gross volume: 1.114 ft^3
net volume (not including sub displacement but accounting for the port): 1.073 ft^3
port area (2" ports time 2): 6.283...
go to the home section in wal-mart. next to the extention cords they have a crimper set with many connectors for $4.44. it's cheaper and better than the one in the auto section.
are they trying to sell you stuff to make money? YES. thats what good little places do. when your dope ride brakes down in front of JC Penny and needs a jump, they want to make sure you dont blame them. rim shops sell tires for a reason if you get my drift.
do you need it? perhaps. i get the...
according to match, i also get around 1.6 ft^3 after displacement. on to the questions:
1) GG will work just fine.
2) drill a hole and seal it w/ silicon. another option is to use a conductive screw or bolt through the back to connect the inside/outside wires.
3) its best the have the port as...
no. thats like saying if you had two hearts they would both pump as hard/often with the same vascular system.
you have to think about things the other way. your car needs amperage, so it "tells" the battery (or batteries) to provide it. it (they) does. the alt outputs the same amount of current...
