I’m currently running a ds800x4 on 4 6.5’s, i planned on adding 2 6x9’s to my saddlebags and thought i could run all 6 on 1 amp instead of 2.

Can I run 4 6.5’s and 2 6x9’s in parallel on a taramps md1200.1? All speakers are 4 ohm, final ohm would be 1.5 ohm load so I’d need a 1 ohm stable mono amp right?

Is distortion reached faster in bridge mode?

No the 2 ohm model does 2 ohm bridged while the 1 ohm does 1 ohm bridged according to taramps website. I have the 2 ohm model.

I am running 4 6.5’s spec’s at 150w rms 4 ohm each amp specs are 136w rms @ 4 ohm and 200w rms @ 2 ohm @ 12.6v dc. Is there any cons to running the speakers in bridge mode @ 2 ohm load? Distortion increases? Amp runs at 400x2 @ 2 ohm in bridge mode.

True. I’d agree on the e10 being more towards ported with its 85ebp. Kicker cvr being 48ebp, p1 being 49ebp, 10w0v3 being 50eb, Dayton being 55ebp all are best sealed. Only thing is those that function better in sealed take less watts like 250-400w rms. But then again less is more, some say just...
