    Alright got everything in guys. Seems to be good so far. Car stays above 14v even when the bass is hitting hard and I'm idling around 600 rpms now. Car just seems to run smoother too. Glad I took the time to do this.

    Ok so it turns out that bolt is too thick for my ring terminals. I don't know where I can get any other ones right now so would one of these bolts work instead? They're pretty convenient as they are right by my batt, but I'm not sure if they would be any good.

    to chassis I've heard people say both ways, not sure which is better. Also where on the alt casing/engine block do I ground? Not really sure, I'm still new to working on cars so I want to make sure I'm not doing something stupid. Pictures would be great. I've tried searching around, but haven't...

    lol ya, I'm not the most handy person, but I thought about doing this, just wasn't sure if it would be that easy, but the terminal does seem like its made of pretty cheap metal so I'm sure it will file down easy enough. Thanks for the help guys.

    I'm gonna look around tomm and see if I can't find narrower ones anywhere locally. Unfortunately I can never seen to find 1/0 ring terminals in stores.

    Ok so I ordered some new battery terminals from knukonceptz cause I figured I might as while replace my old corroded ones as well. I only got the ones with two outputs (in retrospect I should have gotten the konfused ones but oh well). Anyways I also have ring terminals from knu and the problem...

    So I have an audioque 1200d and I heard from several people that they are capable of pushing ~1470 RMS at 1 ohm. So if I wanted to push that much from it, do I just turn up the gain until the voltage hits 38.3 (sqrt of 1470)? I'm kind of confused on the whole matter. I don't know if it's safe...

    Lights on + stereo on + a/c on full blast = low voltage??

    Ya, I probably should do that, and they're both about a year old. I wouldn't think they would be going bad at this point, but I suppose they could with the stress from my system.
