So I have an audioque 1200d and I heard from several people that they are capable of pushing ~1470 RMS at 1 ohm. So if I wanted to push that much from it, do I just turn up the gain until the voltage hits 38.3 (sqrt of 1470)? I'm kind of confused on the whole matter. I don't know if it's safe for the amp, or if the amp is even capable of doing that.

ultimately you arent gonna notice a difference between 1200 and 1400 watts anyway.....is it rly worth the effort and money? and risk of clipping you amp and possibly destroying it and/or ur sub?
