NO It will not work. The 9835/33 will only hook up to the MRD-M501/301. I think its due to a software thing this year, and the connections are different too I believe. No module to bypass it yet. As far as the RUX goes, Im not sure if it works on this years amps or not. I haven't really looked...

Check the tinsel leads. I know on my xxx It had a felt pad on the back of the cone on either side to prevent the leads from hitting the cone directly. Try pushing straight down on the cone too, see if the VC rubs any....Tinsel slap comes to mind though when you say it only does it playing music.

Try using Gladware...you know, the re-usuable plastic containers made by glad for your kitchen. The resin won't stick to them, and when cured will peel right out with ease. Lots of sizes too.
