    Fuse Size?

No. My specs are in my sig. Basically Just fused 4guage running back to a splitter block into the amps. Has treated me well for years. I have a fat daddy 200 amp fuse that came with the wire kit in there now. No problems yet, but I figured I should get that huge fuse out of there.

    Fuse Size?

Have a 2003 Civic EX. If I remember right, stock alt puts out max 75 amps. I have a fuse holder w/4 gauge off the battery. Would an 80 amp fuse suffice, or should I bump up to 100? Any reason why the fuse should be larger than the max alt output? Thanks!

    DONE With Pioneer

My 880 PRS has worked flawlessly for over 3 years. One of the best single dins out there at the time for eq features. Chose it over an Alpine 9 series. I've had a couple of their non premiere line throughout the years. The older models always seemed solid. I can't comment on their newer line.

    Rainbow SLC 6.5 Woofer Repair

Rubber cement seems to have worked. Sounds good again and did not fail after some hard testing. Lets hope it stays that way:P

    Best music formats for CD?

I have a Pioneer 880PRS. Specs say it will play MP3, WMA, and AAC. This might seem like a dumb question, but I was wondering what music format I could burn to CD that would maintain the highest quality play back. I've been on this kick of downloading all my albums in FLAC format. Will FLAC play...

    Rainbow SLC 6.5 Woofer Repair

Ended up using a thick layer of rubber cement I had on hand. Put a layer all around the bottom and upper seam where the surround and the cone connect, as well as in the split. Left to dry overnight. Going to try to install it today and see what happens.

    Rainbow SLC 6.5 Woofer Repair

I have a set of SLC 6.5's. The front left mid woofer has issues. The rubber surround lip has physically separated from about 1/3 of the circumference of the paper cone. This is causing the speaker to buzz at high volume. I was wondering on suggestions for repair. Seal the separated part, or redo...

    880 PRS to Ipod/Zune

Do the AV cables need plugged into anything besides AUX and the Zune (Meaning are there RCA's on the back, or just 1 AUX male connector on one end, and Zune connector on the other?). Does anyone know is there is a loss in audio quality running straight through the AUX input vs a separate...

    880 PRS to Ipod/Zune

What about Zune connectivity? Are there any players I can simply run straight into AUX without an adaptor? Will the Ipod adapter work for the most recent couple editions of the IPOD? (I'm guessing Nano) Edit: Found the CD-IB100II Ipod adapter..around $50. Wondering if I get a Zune I can just...

    880 PRS to Ipod/Zune

I'm looking to switch to having my music play off an Ipod/Zune rather than lugging around my bulky CD case. I like the idea of being able to hold virtually my whole CD collection on one small unit. I've had my 880 PRS for a couple years now. As I remember, it has an AUX input on the side of the...

    Civic Limp Mode

No doubt. You can imagine me shitting myself if I replaced it and the light came back on (with a different code) with my first week of college starting and no other transport.

    Civic Limp Mode

Autozone and and another shop both tested it and it threw code P0340 - Camshaft position sensor. Fixed the sensor (under the valve cover on the right) and it fixed the issue. $60 part, and a few hours of my time.

    Civic Limp Mode

Had my 03' EX (5spd) for about 2 years now. No problems to speak of...until this morning. Hop in to go to work. I notice that once revs hit 3500 rpm or so in any gear, car starts shaking and sputtering. The type of sensation when you hit the rev limiter, and the car kicks back and wont go any...

    Deck preout issues

My buddy is installing a system, using a Kenwood DPXx302 as a head unit http://reviews.cnet.com/in-dash-car-stereos/kenwood-dpx302/4507-6729_7-32341197.html Subs play fine off low deck output. The problem exists with the output from the high output RCAs. He can only get one side at a time to...
